“It’s amazing how many followers of Christ get this wrong idea about hypocrites. Satan has fooled so many Christians into this mindset. “I’m not living right. So if I go the church I would me a hypocrite.” I’m talking about true born again Christians thinking that way. The word “hypocrite” comes from an old English word that means “actor”, someone playing a part in a play. So someone who is a hypocrite is someone pretending to be someone else. So, is a Christian says “If I go the church I would me a hypocrite” he is playing the part of a sinner; thus making him an actor who is playing the role of someone who is not a born again disciple of Christ. He’s pretending to be something he is not–lost. So when the Devil tries to lay this line of BS on you, just remember who you are and live accordingly.” – The Mad Preacher
